On Friday night, the top 11 participants performed patriotic songs and made the program more interesting. After performing their songs, each of the participants talked about their voting system and told their voting codes to the audience and encouraged their fans to vote to them. At the end of the show, Omid Nezami made it clear that, as the holy day of Muharram is approaching, there won’t be any show in the next week and the fans and audiences can have the opportunity to vote to their favorite star till Wednesday (9 Jadi) December 30th, 2009. |

The Afghan Star show in past week passed it's top 40, top 20 and the Top 10 rounds.
In a fair competition the judges picked 40 most hearing and beautiful voices from 160 competitors who had participated from 6 provinces.
In the Top 40 round, 40 participants competed but this time it was a bit challenging cause in this round they had to sing with the music and had to orchestrate with the music beats.
Finally, the judges picked 20 better contestants from 40 to compete in Top 20 round.
Well this round was more challenging and destining for those 20 contestants.
Hopes, wishes, interest, self-confidence, fear, presentiment, depression and lots more could have been seen in the faces of the participants.
The competition was held in it's best manner and the Top 20 participants were doing their best to be among the Top 10 contestant who will directly go the Top 12 round.
These 20 contestants were all brilliant and genius singers and judging them was a big challenge for the jury. Selecting Top 10 among 20 contestants was not an easy challenge, but finally Top 10 were selected and 10 other contestants were introduced to the SMS round. In which you are the judge to vote for your favorite contestant, two lucky winners will go to the Top 12 round. The Top 10 round and the SMS round's cards were this year different from the previous years. Don't miss Afghan Star, our Top 12 round will be starting from the next week.

 Afghan Star is one of the most interesting shows of Tolo television which has attracted most of the audience to itself. With the passage of 4 seasons, Afghan Star is still welcomed by the audience and people were eagerly waiting for the 5th season of Afghan Start to be started. The 5th season of this show began and was highly welcomed by fans and people in Kabul city.
People's highly interest has made this show more interesting.
This year, almost 1200 youth had participated in 5th season of Afghan Star and passed the first audition of the 5th season.
Many of the youth said that they have participated in this show many times during the previous seasons of Afghan Star and some of them have also come to join Afghan Star from the neighboring countries which shows that Afghan Star show has many fans and is welcomed by many people.
The participants, making a queue and waiting for their turn, reflects youth's enthusiasm in Afghan Star show.
Females have also participated in Afghan Star like the previous seasons. Although, this year few females had participated in this show but in this season, there were females participants as well.
The judges panel which includes Gul Zaman, Ahmad Fanos, Rameshgar and Wajiha had made a friendly environment by encouraging youth and fans of Afghan Star and were telling about the participants mistakes and errors in a very friendly manner. They were promising for accepting and also welcoming some of the participants, who failed, to the next season of Afghan Star.
Finally, with the judges' advice and decision, some of the participants made it to the next round and Afghan Star crew went to an another province of Afghanistan to find the best talents among them.

Afghan Star show is the best opportunity for youth so they can utilize their talent and abilities. People has a direct participation in this show which means people judge in this show and select the best participant using their votes. In fact, the participants are selected by people's votes.
Afghan star crew also travel to outside Kabul province and they are welcomed both in and outside Kabul. This year, the Afghan Star crew will also travel to other provinces such as; Jalalabad, Kunduz, Herat, Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif in order to provide opportunities for those provinces' youth and people to participate in this process. The preliminary period of this process is the participation of youth and after the judges' decision and with the passage of different processes, these participants will go to top 12. Ten of them will go the voting process by people's votes. 2 of them will go to top 12 by obtaining most of the votes.
We can say that this show is one of the best shows which is the only platform for youth to utilize their talents and abilities because talents and abilities of participants are important to viewers/people.

Afghan Star
