This week we had a special guest, a former finalist in Season 2 of Afghan Star who made it to number 3 that year. Yes you have probably guessed from the photo that the special guest is Mehdi Afshar.

Mehdi Afshar will release his first album called Golden Dreams (Khaab-e-Telayee) through Barbud Music on Sunday 22 February 2009 in Afghanistan and worldwide through CD Baby website now. Click here to buy a copy of this CD online - and support our former Afghan Stars.

We have had many enquiries about our Wild Card round, which will be happening the week immediately after the Top 6 week. That is, Thursday 6th and Friday and 7th February 2009.
