Surprisingly, for the first time Afghan Star program auditioned in Sydney, the biggest city of Australia. Both genders participated in the tryout to achieve singing in the top 12 in Kabul, Afghanistan. For this week, the judges were Tahmina Arsalan, Khalil and Sayed Sarshar, who tried their best to select the best participants for the next rounds.

 
The first participant that caught the judges’ attention was Milad Ferogh, a gentleman who had 10 years of experience performing and singing, has performed a song from Ahmad Murred Called “Argez Az Yad e Man”. He had given the judges a positive vibe, giving him the possibility to attend the next round which is Top 160. Secondly, Nahid Ahmadi, A young adult who believes she can be the next afghan star of this year, she has amazed the judges with her glorious voice. Unfortunately, the two participants who did not achieve the card were Nader Saleh who performed with Dambora and Afshin who also performed a song with his Guitar.
 

The last 10 minutes of the show was dedicated to online auditions. In this part Afghans from all over the world take the chance to audition for Afghan Star by sending their singing videos through the internet. Out of hundreds of submissions, ten make it onto a second round, from which the judges will pick one participant to compete in Top 12.
